Flt 93

i do work for the NPS (National Park Service). i am also a United (formally Continental) employee (Technician). i just recently visited the NPS Flt 93 site in Shanksville, PA just east of Pittsburgh. when i went back to work i talked to a few old United people and was informed that the original flag that was placed upon Gate 17 (the final departure gate for that flight)the day after that fateful day (a flag has flown there consistantly since then) was in the possession of United employees that have cared for it and some other artifacts relating to their friendships with those aboard the aircraft that day. we, the employees of United are in the process of working together to donate these items for future display and permanent care at what is widely believed to be their rightful resting place at the NPS Flt 93 Memorial.
